You'll also have the opportunity to visit the CVS (the organization responsible for endangered animals in the area) and see the turtles and the American crocodile (Crocodylus acutus), species protected by conservation programs aimed at preventing their future extinction. Delicias Caribeñas, a small cabin in the middle of the river, was founded by one of the best chefs to have ever worked at the presidential residence in Cartagena, Doña Sara. There you will delight in her local cuisine while discovering her background and her concept of sustainable Colombian Caribbean gastronomy, and experiencing the surrounding wildlife.

You will end up contemplating the wonder of the mangrove and its nature, while learning about its endangered species and the fauna that inhabits it.
